Accommodations

There are three residences at Cothelstone farm that can accommodate guests: The Cabin, The Bungalow and The Lodge. Typically, the owners occupy the Lodge, in season, but the other properties are available for rental throughout the year. Below you will find a brief description of each of the properties but for interior pictures and a full list of amenities and availability, please click on the buttons below to link to our Airbnb site.

The Cabin

The Cabin is nestled at the back of the farm property at the base of a mountain. The front faces a cleared area for picnins or campfires and the back faces a pine forest. It was built in 1973 by the owners and has a unique barrel frame. The first floor is an open plan with a small living area, full kitchen with table and full bathroom. A wood burning potbelly stove sits in the middle flanked by ladder stairs that lead to three bedrooms and a landing (with a day bed) on the second floor. The Cabin has a front deck, picnic table and charcoal grill. It can accommodate up to 6 adults.

The Bungalow

The Bungalow is on the left border of the farm property and sits up on a slight hill facing the manmade pond. The Bungalow was built in 2006 as part of a high school career and technical education project. The porch offers a nice view of the pond and the wooded land surrounding Snowy Creek stream. This property has a full kitchen, t.v. room and two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a full bath and there is another half bath on this level. The lower level has a galley kitchen, a large recreational or t.v. space and three bedrooms each with their own full bathrooms. There is a washer and dryer on the lower level as well.

The Lodge

The Lodge sits mid-way down a hill right off the highway with wonderful views of the valley below and the mountains beyond. It is a ranch style home with a garage and two decks (one covered), a porch, a gazeebo and two small ponds. The interior has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms.
